T Magazine has recently been livening up its pages with some colorful and breezy illustrations by Greek artist Konstantin Kakanias. The images above (from a recent issue) accompanied a story about architect Rafael de Cárdenas’ new pattern design for Rivieras shoes.
Kakanias’ drawings, paintings, and sculptures have been exhibited around the world and his work belongs to many private and public collections. He has designed textiles for Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Lacroix; collaborated with The New York Times, The New Yorker, Interview, Vogue, and Paper as an illustrator; and developed a comic book with Diane von Furstenberg and Frederic Malle.
